Adam Jomeen is an art lawyer and founding partner of Art Law Studio. He has a strategic understanding of critical legal and commercial factors at play in the art market and brings that knowledge to bear across his practice.

Prior to founding Art Law Studio, Adam spent over a decade working for leading international law firms based in the UK, France and Brazil. He regularly advises on art contracts, deals and disputes engaging the UK, US and Europe and has particular expertise navigating cross-border matters in close collaboration with leading foreign experts. Adam speaks fluent Portuguese and has a working knowledge of Spanish, French and German.

An English solicitor since 2007, Adam holds an LLM in Art, Business & Law from Queen Mary University. He enjoys speaking on matters within his expertise and has done so recently for the Sotheby’s Institute, the Institute of Art & Law and the BBC’s Fake or Fortune. Away from art and law, Adam takes a keen interest in fitness, languages and Leeds United.
